You should also expect Physical Training or P.T. to happen almost everyday in a Marine Boot camp. And, you should also expect classroom sessions.

Position yourself in a free space. Extend your arms on the side parallel to the ground. Open your legs to a 50 ? 60 degrees angle. Do the routine by bending your knee on the left and bringing the right arm down touching your toes. Do it on the other right side and continue the routine alternately. Aim for a faster bending. This can be done for about 32 reps on both sides.

Ski Jump

Put your feet together while standing. Jump to one side with knees bent and land in a squat position. Jump as far as you can reach. Jump back to the other side. Repeat jumping from one side to the other 16 times.

High Jogs

Close feet together and put hands and arms straight in front of your pelvic. Do jogging in place and let your knees touch your hands. Do not lower your hands during the routine. Do this routine for about 30 seconds.

Before doing the following routine, you must first ready your muscles and do warm-up for 5 to 10 min. Do some stretching, walking and shaking before doing the actual exercise.

Perform the exercises correctly and as many as you can. Never stop moving. During the exercise take a little cool down to catch your breath and to drink water. Do this by walking around or jogging a little.

After the workout, do not ever forget to cool down and relax your muscles. Make some records about your exercises and monitor your development.

Then its time to do a walking lunge; step your right leg about three feet, bend your knees at an angle (90 degrees), and lunge your body forward, do the same with your left foot. You can do this by walking from end to another. You can do this for about eight reps.

Jumping jacks is not very hard to do; you can do 20, then march in place (8 counts), and then do another twenty. If you feel you can exceed twenty, then do so.

Side lunge, this is like the walking lunge, only you do it towards your side. You must do at least sixteen reps for each side.

Then do chests squeeze by holding a ball on your chest’s front. Followed by a ski jump, march again in place, plank, high jogs, and then finally, do slow push ups.

It is best to consult first an expert in boot camp workouts so that you’ll know that you’re doing it the right way. Improper exercise can do your body more harm than good.

After the retreat in the youth boot camp, studies show that these teenagers become accustomed to discipline that they don’t tend to go back to their bad habits and illegal activities. Especially the first time offenders, they could easily be renewed by counseling and proper care.

Although the approach is quite costly, the youth boot camp staffs’ guidance leave a mark in these teens’ minds. Some youth boot camps use the confrontational approach to educate these teens of the proper social behaviors. Through this, youths learn to interact with other people with the right conduct.

To retain the virtues taught in the boot camp, follow up counseling and care are prepared as still part of the program. Monitoring of the youth’s development after the program is important. This will be the test of how much he had learned and what they had learned has helped him.

Hip hop music simply known as rap or more popularly known as rap music emerged in the United States during the middle of the 1970’s. It was one of the styles of popular music which became a big part of the modern pop culture in the 80s. There are two components of hip hop music. One is the rapping or MCing and scratching and audio mixing or DJing. Along with break dancing or hip hop dance and graffiti or an inspired urban art composes the 4 hip hop elements, a cultural group emerged initiated by many African Americans inner-city youth of New York City during the early 70s.

Hip hop music typically consist of an intense rhythmic lyrical form. Techniques such as rhyme, alliteration, and assonance are abundantly used. Instrumental track or beat created by instrumentalists or producers, or performed by DJs usually accompany the rappers. The beats make use of samples from percussion breaks of a song which is either a soul or funk recording. Moreover, other sounds can be also sampled, performed, or synthesized.

Hip hop music unites the members of Boot Camp Clik. Boot Camp Clik is a hip hop group of renowned people that originated from Brooklyn, New York. The members of the group include:

- Smif-N-Wessun or Cocoa Brovaz which is a hip hop duo of Tek and Steele.

- O.G.C. or Originoo Gunn Clappaz consists of American rappers Starang Wondah, Louieville Sluggah, and Top Dog.

- Buckshot from the group Black Moon known as the famous underground rapper and the leader of Boot Camp Clik.

Boot Camp Clik reached their popularity heights during the mid-90s. They have released the 4 acclaimed albums, Enta Da Stage of Black Moon, Dah Shinin of Smif-N-Wessun, Nocturnal of Heltah Skeltah, and Da Storm of O.C.G. These are greatly spawned with several underground rap hits such as “I Got Cha Opin (Remix)” and “Who Got Da Props?” by Black Moon, “Sound Bwoy Bureill” and “Bucktown” by Smif-N-Wessun, “Operation Lock Down” and “Leflaur Leflah Eshkoshka” by Heltah Skeltah, and “No Fear” by O.C.G.

Sad to say, despite their acclaimed albums as well as the minor successes of their singles, they were not able to achieve Gold level sales. Nevertheless they continue to pursue their careers in the music industry even when their popularity started to decline. It even lead to lengthy breaks from the hip hop scenes.

However, Boot Camp Clik independently returned in 2002 able to regain their popularity in the underground hip hop music. They were again able to release several acclaimed underground hits. From then on, they also incepted affiliates including Da Beatminerz and Representativz.

Well, it just emphasizes that genre of hip hop music will remain throughout history since it gained a lot of audiences all over the world mostly young people. That is why it continues to invade the music industry.
